What is your profession/career? Or if you are still in school, what is the profession you are interested to study in a future and to get paid for the work you do?

I finished high school about a month and a half ago, and currently have no job. So I'm a full time bum. After the Australian Open, I will be looking to get into something, get my career rolling. I want to work for myself, that's about all I know atm :)

I'm an IT Consultant, System Administrator of *nix systems (Debian/Portage/Ports/RPM based systems), Crestron Associate, Classroom Support Technician and the unofficial Junior backend Web Developer.

Gotta love how universities pile more and more on you when to take a job from them.

Likewise a college student majoring in Music Industry. I wanted to synch music to films, which I still do as a hobby, but I'm also preparing myself to become a voice actor. Ultimately a voice actor for Anime dubs, but cartoons, radio, movie, documentary and anything else are on my list as well... so I'm being fairly realistic about it.

I'm a student - I finished my first year in a Bachelor of Information Technology but my brain doesn't work with programming so I'm transferring to a Bachelor of Languages (Modern European) - ultimately I'll probably end up getting some IT qualifications once I finish my degree :) I'm kind of leaning towards being a languages teacher, or a translator if I could be. At the moment, I work as a supervisor at a supermarket... which has no relevance whatsoever to anything I want to do in the future!

Up till year 7 i always wanted to be a chef.. but that dream died in cooking classes when i burnt one of the school's pan and caused one of the teachers to burn their finger. heh

So now with 2 more years of school im studying super hard and nerding as much as possible to get into medicine.. and become a doctor. I doubt i can make it though and everyone is expecting stuff from me =/
Think im gonna need to figure out a plan B within the next 2 years.

...Back on topic?

Although I'm only a HS Junior, I am perusing things, although, my job as a Library Page/Shelver isn't what I am wanting to pursue a career in.. to be a pawn.

But, I'm pursuing the career to be a Concert Pianist; Solo, Chamber, Concerto, Teacher and I'd like to get a niche in for Jazz. Oh, and don't worry, this isn't coming from someone who just wants to be a Pianist, I am getting connections and what not and actually meeting with big-name people and all the like.

You have three options:

1) Become a booth girl, which is what I think your referring to
2) A fan girl
3) A progammer, and the second female to play in the major star leagues

Take 3, I'll be your coach :)

"Can you tell me where the nearest Red Rooster is?"

"The who?"

"Watch you talkin' about, Red Rooster?"

"You mean you don't fry it?"

"What would that that even taste like?"

"They just don't get it here in America."

"No we don't."

So just because you don't know them, no Americans know them?

The Pussycat Dolls is an American pop girl group, and dance ensemble founded by choreographer Robin Antin. The group originated in 1995 as a burlesque troupe based in Los Angeles.

Lol, you're such an idiot, always thinking I'm attacking America at every possible oppertunity. Hell, right now, America does enough to make itself look stupid so I don't even have to point anything out:bleh:

Oh, and to burst your bubble, Hannah Montana isn't an idol, it's a tv series.

Hannah Montana is an Emmy Award-nominated[1] American television series, which debuted on March 24, 2006 on Disney Channel. The series focuses on a girl who lives a double life as an average teenage school girl named Miley Stewart (played by Miley Cyrus) by day and a famous pop singer named Hannah Montana by night, concealing her real identity from the public, other than her close friends and family.

Lol, and then you still claim that Americans aren't ignorant?

Yeah, as an American, I usually know when something is wildly popular here, unlike you.

Lol, you're such an idiot, always thinking I'm attacking America at every possible oppertunity. Hell, right now, America does enough to make itself look stupid so I don't even have to point anything out
lol, let's get back to this in a second.

Oh, and to burst your bubble, Hannah Montana isn't an idol, it's a tv series.

Lol, and then you still claim that Americans aren't ignorant?
Uhhhhhhh, try searching more than wikipedia.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rBjyhVzCIhw
Go ahead, keep on talking about things you know nothing about while pretending it's everybody else who's clueless. It's good to stick to your forte! But, if that doesn't work out for you, then hell...

Hell, right now, America does enough to make itself look stupid so I don't even have to point anything out
...You could just become an American! =D

And you're the idiot for thinking my response to your ill-informed comment about my country's crappy musical talent was a defense against you apparent "attack" on America. I don't understand how I could possibly be insulted that you thought we had shitty girl bands over here, when we in fact have shitty idols instead. I also don't know how you could think me correcting you on the state of musical affairs could be a defense of America.

You: "America has shitty girl bands, lol."
Me: "No, we have shitty idols, lol."
You: "WTF IDIOT!?!?~! STOP DEFENDING YOUR SHITTY COUNTRY, EVERYPERSON NOES HOW STUUPID IT IS ANYWAY LOL!~!"

And now we're back to Me: "lol, what?"

And guh, you've once again tricked me into spending like five minutes of my life into responding to one of your inane posts. I don't know what kind of person you are to have this evil, tricksy effect on me, but I imagine if I met you face to face, you'd be that guy who'd walk by me and a few friends on the street, at which point I'd turn to them and we'd have a conversation kind of like this:
"Damnit, I want to punch that guy in the face."
"What the hell? Why, Jimmy?"
"I don't know, he just pisses me off for reasons unknown to me. It's very mysterious."
"Indeed, I kind of had the same feeling."

Anyway, god damnit, Angelic. Stop picking fights with me, you prickly bastard.
