I alway love reading threads on this cus the opinions are so varied and funny. I happen to really like this manga/anime. I think the plot progress very well, and is well written. I do have to say some scenes can be a little too much for me though. :heh:

Well, considering that the romance mode chosen for this story is centered around pedophilia (and does not hide this), it certainly requires a particular mood and a good deal of maturity, in addition to being able to trample over a few social rules, to watch. I do overall like the story they chose to follow, as it's a path rarely touched due to censorship and the fear of losing credibility; at the time of writing I only know one other that's similar to this story, and that's Koi Kaze. At the same time, I also find that the story abuses the romance and often becomes a form of legal eye candy for lolicons.

So quite frankly I'm torn between liking and hating this series. The artist and storymaker in me is giving the green flag; the storyline is strong and powerful, its original and offers a good deal of development. The society and legal in me is giving the red flag, as the sexual situations and overall attitude towards the three minors in question is inappropriate, and the depictions of how minors act are skewed.

I completely agree with you M. Especially about the lolicon eye candy, I don't know how far you got, but around chapter 40 or so I just think they went a little too far.:heh:

The name "kodomo no jikan" is enough me make me shiver and NOT EVER read it... :shifty:
