Well, judging from the demo, all looks good so far. Anybody else psyched up for this game? ^.^ I totally failed at command and conquer, so I'm glad this one was noob-proof for me. XD

NAhhh Halo Wars isnt like the other halos so i not really going to buy it. The game that would be worth buy is the Halo 3:ODST. Plus im not good in games like command and conquer. :heh:

Dude, that's what I thought at first too, but try the demo! It's worth a download, it's pretty fun. Campaign has a pretty good plot. :D

*bitchslap* HW is gonna be fucking awesome. I used to hate RTS too, but noob proof endwar got me into it. :P And now, even more noob proof halo wars got me more into it. XD I mean, you only have to memorize like, 5 or 6 button combos versus the 500 you need to in stuff like command and conquer....

i have this, its ok i guess but im not sure how long it could hold my attention, as it is a little simple and there isnt many units and therefore IMHO less strategies. Meh its decent but couldve been better :/

I'm stuck on the mission where there's this scarab head destroying your base. Can anyone give me pointers? It seems like by the time I get a big enough army to destroy the damn thing, it already cut through the wall to my base. XD

Create a couple squads of Warthogs to go out and destroy the power nodes first. Then go for the Scarab.

So, if I destroy all the power nodes, does it's head stop moving all together? I can only seem to find about 4 or 5 of the nodes every time I play, so I want to know if it's even worth bothering to get all of them. :heh:

Nope, but it does move significantly slower, allowing you to move your units out of the way before it fires. It's definitely worth getting most/all of them because if you try to assault it head on, it'll just blow you away before you even cause a decent amount of damage.

So, I beat the scarab level....NOW I'M STUCK ON THE FLOOD LEVEL. <_< Seriously, wtf is up with all these levels being so hard? I finally got back to the real base on this level, when some straggler brutes from the beginning of the mission come along and kill an elephant. :cry:

From what I've heard(I haven't played it personally) it is pretty shit-house awesome but I bet there are some out there who were reading exaggerated reviews and ended up thing that it was a complete letdown. I would love to play it but I have seen from Yatzee(escapist forums) that it may not be as great as I expect.

Don't let other people fool you, halo wars is a great game. I wish campaign would have been longer (the game ends on a cliffhanger,halo 2 style. XD) but that's the only real issue I have with the game. :P

Plus, most of the achievements aren't too hard, so this might be an easy 1000 gamerscore.

:)My bro has Halo Wars. He says it's the best Halo game ever. I wouldn't take his word though, lol, that's what he said about Halo, Halo2, Bioshock, Gears of War, Gears of War2, and Dead Space(all in that order :P).

But I've seen all the cut-scenes that he unlocked and the graphics are amazing. The storyline seems pretty cool too. Don't know about the game play though.

Gameplay is a little strange at first if you are new to RTS, (like I was) but once you get the hang of it, it really is fun. :D

Halo Wars is seriously a noob-proof RTS. XD When I tried command and conquer, I kept failing, but I actually got somewhere with Halo Wars and Endwar. :P
