I'm new and I really don't know how or where to start off. So, I'm just going to post one of my older compositions I made. I was inspired by Jan Hammer and Thomas Dolby, composers of "The Mind's Eye" and "Gate to the Mind's Eye", so my song has an 80s and 90s feel to it. I hope you enjoy it!

I like the gradual build-up with all the layers you've added together. What I don't like is its repetitive and monotonous nature (e.g. the chord progression, the mood/feel) at times, but you manage to keep it interesting for the most part. You could try to add more variety. And finally, you need more of an ending so that listeners know it's coming.

Hey Misha! ^.^
I agree with Al that you should do something with the ending in this recording, like a fadeout. I don't mind the repetitiveness, though, especially as background music.

Yeah I made it more for background music purposes, like something you'd hear on "How It's Made" or something. I'll take a look at the ending. Thanks for the comments :]

Ah, well if it's for background purposes then it is suitable. Especially since you should be able to loop it around to make it longer if need be. (I like that show!)

Haha, yeah it is. I made this song around the time when I first got the demo of FL.
