The colours are a bit unnatural but you've got a good sense of proportion, the legs and arms are well-shaped and the work on the feathers in the wings is excellent. Their hair strands are a bit thick but it's like that in a lot of anime styles anyway. I like the way you've made the hair flow and put in a few stray feathers to give the impression of motion, though their poise makes it look like they're sitting down on something rather than moving in mid-air. What did you use to make this - coloured pencils/watercolours? Maybe make the pencil outlining the arms a bit darker? Just it's a bit difficult to distinguish between hand and leg there and the arm being that close to the leg would naturally create some shadow :) The other pencil outlinings are great - just light enough to not make it look cartoony but they still leave an impression. I think it's a really good piece of work and not horrid at all!

No I'm not :( She said it was horrible - I was pointing out that it wasn't horrible and giving possible suggestions if she wanted to improve it... isn't that what people post their art up for: evaluation?

Alice - good idea using a black pen, it might just be that the scanner didn't pick up the outlines around where the arm crosses the leg so it's not as distinct. Great how you've used two tones of colour for light and shadow too - good effect!

I did that all at once without flipping it over and tracing it.
And yes I do do requests, I just haven't had any lately.

Well I think it's pretty good - you should post some more! Just wait till you see the manga art attempt I've done, then you'll know what bad drawing looks like :P

We from the staff have a lot of reason to think the creator of this topic is in fact our great friend KurumiAngel49. Art contest anyone? This topic will be locked.
