when it comes to music some people go with the top songs and others just listen to the songs they like regardless of how old they are so which one are you?

I am one of those people who just listens to the music I like because the song is cool not because of it's rating

I listen to music that I like and dislike; from past to present. I don't care of ratings and such things really.

I listen to everything musical and to my liking. I don't want to listen to stuff I don't like. Right now, for instance, I'm listening to the World of Goo Soundtrack. Great stuff, but not something that would make it into the top 100 or whatever XD

sometimes I even listen to music from games if I like it
the main thing for me to like a song is the meaning the beat and the lyrics are good.

I really like anything that gives a strong feel or atmosphere, although I do tend to stay away from Metal, Rock and a lot of other 'modern' styles. I just listen to music that suits my mood and what the weather is like. Yeah, I like a nice strong atmosphere. But one thing, I can't listen to the same song like 5 times over, twice or three times maybe, maybe; but I always have to listen to something different. Yeah, weird, but hey, its me:lol:
