:lol:Does anyone have any suggestions for drawing mechanical stuff(like guns and Gundam...) other than "make your lines very straight" and "add a lot of shading"? :) A "how to" is fine also...

There are no "how-to's" for drawing, sadly.
Step one: Find a picture of something mechanical.
Step two: Draw it. And then draw it again. And again. > <

I wish there were magical shortcuts, but I've yet to find any. D:

After you draw something, we can critique it if you want, but usually you can see your own mistakes anyway...

...So I guess it's just...draw it...and then draw it again...and again...:\

Yeah... you can draw things exaggeratedly straight but what is the fun in that?! I'm with the Hopeless Composer in this. I believe that you need to use a ruler to measure out stuff. I put in dots when I draw so that I can sort of join them so that it is not too big or too small for the page. I would NEVER sketch a mechanical object because when you do the final product it will look uneven or rough. You don't really need to put in all that much detail and if you do make sure that it is not in a massive chunk! Hope that this will help!

Grr...my bro draws phenomenal Gundam and mechanical stuff and he NEVER uses a ruler or anything. Just pencil, paper, and his amazing talent(that I want!!!).
