does anyone know a program that can convert wav's to mp3's. Preferably free but if its not its still fine. I'm looking for a simple program with its sole purpose to be just converting. (Don't want a 2GB audio mixer just for this.) I'm currently using a trial version of power mp3-wav converter but I only have 3 tries left and the program is well protected.

Have you ever tried Audacity? You only need to download the program and the lame.dll encoder. ;)

Don't you have iTunes? You could just use that.
