Manga 4 me. Always manga. Anime is cool but manga kicks arse!:heh:

Haven't we had topics like this in the past? Ah well...

For me, it depends. I prefer manga nowadays, although sometimes anime are just better (take Code Geass for example, there isn't even a manga for the original storyline, just spin-offs). In the case of Love Hina, I really disliked the anime but the manga was pretty good.

For specific animes or just in general?
In general, I'd have to go with anime...unless the manga was just that much better...or the anime was just that bad...

For specifics...
Naruto-anime(other than fillers<_<)
Bleach-anime(other than fillers<_<)
Eureka seveN-anime(manga was based off of anime and just...sucked)
Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu-anime(manga...was boring compared to the anime)

As for everything else...I either haven't read the manga or haven't watched the anime...:heh:

Lol, tricky, I like either, but if they make an anime based on a manga or visa-versa, I tend to go with the original. Although sometimes the adaptation can be better (but rarely I find).

in general, i prefer anime. However, i admit that i don't read a lot of manga nowadays.

Anime

Manga since its the original source and if you want to know the "true story" to those 24-episode-not-following-the-real-plot you gatz ta reedz da marnga!

Then again you get those gems like Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Code Geass and FMA (season 1)

TBH i dont really think you can compare anime and manga all that well

my personal preference though is anime

manga sticks to the story but they cut it out of the anime
but anime has music which sets the mood or scene
I loved the DN angel manga but I like the anime more because
of the music

Pros of anime:
Animation
Music
Color (manga sometimes have it)
Different of variation of original manga plot (Depends if you like the original plot or the anime plot)

Pros of manga:
It is a book (If you buy it instead of reading the scans)
Better drawings than anime (Depend and it is your opinion)
Better plot (Depends on your opinion)

I would prefer some anime over manga and some manga over anime. For example, I really thought Love Hina anime was quite bad compared to the manga. And The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya manga in my opinion has a better storyline and plot than the anime. But Shakugan no Shana anime was good (Only read one chapter of manga). I'm just saying I like anime for the animations, music, and the vioce acting. I like manga better for a better plot.

In some anime's they add charecters that are not ment to be in the manga
but sometimes anime is easyer for some people and in some places hard it's
hard to find the manga but you can watch the anime on youtube or Tv

Oh ya true. For example, in Rosario + Vampire Capu2, Mizore's dad and Moka's father is already introduced and in the season 2 manga, it isn't introduced yet. Almost like a spoiler kind of. It's really hard to find good manga in stores like Rosario + Vampire and Shakugan no Shana. But on tv sometimes programs don't host certain anime like ecchi. Youtube almost has every anime but tend to get removed becuase of copyright innfrigement stuff.

well in the DN angel anime two charecters are added that don't even appear in the manga. They must do that so they can make more episodes

I understand the pros and cons of both anime and manga and I stand by what I said before but even I must admit that some anime is better made than the manga was. If you're really desperate for music with your manga just get a phone, ipod or MP3, it's not really that hard to do.
