Okay, so this morning I was given a pdf file of "Sekai no Yakusoku", the end credits theme from "Howl's Moving Castle". I want to sing it. :D
However, I fail at reading japanese characters.
So, I was handed a link to various Hiragana Charts. The rest of today, while chilling in sunny Florida, I have managed to translate the syllables. :D
Of course, if I got stuck, I listened to the original track for guidance, but this wasn't has difficult as I thought!

Someone I was chatting with (Shadow, I believe) asked if they could have the translation when I was through. So here we are.
I understand that some syllables are supposed to be paired up together... but I can't really do that well.... O.o So if someone here can do it, by all means go ahead! For now, here is what I translated out...

"Sekai no Yakusoku"

na mi da no wo ku ni
yu ra gu ho ho e ne na
to ki no ha ji ne ka ra no
se ka i no ya ku so ku
i ma ha hi to ri de mo
fu ta ri no ki no u ka ra
kyo u ha u ma re ki ra me ku
ha ji me te mya ta hi no yo u ni
o mo i de no u chi ni
a na ta ha i na i
so ya ka se to na tsu te
ho ho ni fu re te ku ro

ko mo re de no ko go no
wa ka re no a yo mo
ke tsu shi te o wa ra na i
se ka i no ya ku so ku
i ma ho hi ko ri de mo
a shi ni ha ka gi ri na i
a na ta ke o shi e te ku re ta
yo ru ta hi so mu ya sa shi ni
o mo i de no u chi ni
a no e no i na i
se se ra ki no u e ni
ko no sa ra no i ro ni
ha na no ka o ri ni
i tsu ma de ta i ke te

Lol I fail.
I am assuming that "se ka i no ya ku so ku" goes together like... "sekai no yakusoku" considering that's the title.... but... XD

Once I get home, I will try to take the music, re scan it, and put the syllables with the music... but until now, here is the translation from the characters to the sounds. :D
Enjoy~!
