I'm planing on dressing up as pikachu for a convention but I need some help with how I am going to make it. Such as the ears and the tail, any tips will come in handy.

Yellow jump suit, or get a yellow shirt/jumper and yellow pants

paint 3 brown stripes on the shirt/jumper

get brown and yellow cloth and cut it out and stitch together then onto the pants, make get wire in the inside so the tail can stand or hold shape.

Get a yellow headband then make ears out of cloth with wire in the inside and stitch it on (maybe)

paint red spots on your cheeks

wear yellow gumboots or some paw shaped yellow shoe if you have them


That's my plan O_o or just buy a suit off ebay or something

yeah thats a good idea I might try that but I can't buy anything online which makes it a real pain

You will have to get out there and buy fabric or an actual yellow dress and put in the effort. Get them sewing machines going!

Yeah, I think if you tried to make yourself completely yellow and look as much like Pikachu as possible, it would be a bit scary cos it would be like Pikachu had tried to morph into a person but got stuck. That picture of the girl in the boots looks better because you can tell who she's cosplaying as only because of certain features but she still looks pretty good.

I would do mudkip but he's even harder but I have some blond highlights in my hair so that should help. I have an idea of what I'm going to do but I've seen better pikachu cosplays and the main reason I'm doing pikachu is because he's not to hard

anyway who cares if it's an old idea pikachu is cute and there are always going to be people who cosplay as him.

but that was not me in a cosplay that was a random cosplay of pikachu
