It takes a very special person to appreciate this kind of anime. It is similar to DiGi Charat in it's randomness but I think it's even funnier.

I've also started reading the manga, and the manga is weirder than the anime (believe it or not) My favourite character is definitely the dog that Excel always wants to eat.

So, has anyone else seen this?

YES&#33; I have seen Excel Saga and I love it&#33; It was my third anime I had ever seen and its hilarious&#33;&#33;

I love how the episodes are all different and how Koshi Rikdo &#39;Hereby gives his permission&#39;...

My favourite character is Iwata :P

I have read the manga and it is very funny.
it is weird how lord il palazolu or whatever is always mean to exel and not that girl who faints.

haha, excel saga was so crazy it was funny. BUt i dunno if i&#39;d compare it to Digi Charat since ES was very...perverted in some parts. Definately not for the younger audiences. Funny as hell tho.

I found Excel Saga to be about as random as DiGi Charat. That&#39;s where I made the comparision. Otherwise, yes, they are quite different

Haha, I have the whole series on DVD&#33; ^_^ It&#39;s my favourite Amine ever. Alot of people say that it&#39;s just silly, or that it doesn&#39;t make any sense. But the way everything comes together towards the end is brilliant, and at least the ending wasn&#39;t dissapointing like some other things i&#39;ve seen.

It&#39;s just really funny, and the humour just so happens to appeal to mine. I would reccomend it to anyone.
