when i first got my new mac, i downloaded a crack/keygen for sibelius 5. it didnt work (of course), so i broke down and just bought the actual program.

now, when i try to register, the serial number and computer number are already filled in with the old information (from the crack/keygen i downloaded). it allows me to enter in the new serial number, but then won't register because it says my internet connection isn't working when it obviously is.

i already deleted the program and reinstalled it from the actual sibelius disk, but the same problem still arises. SO weird. help?

Instead of web registering in this case, try registering by a different means like phone or snail mail if the option arises.

i did and it has the old serial/computer number in the fields still, except this time it doesnt let me edit it

If all else fails, you can always uninstall everything, and look into your computer's registry, deleting entries linked with Sibelius, and try installing again. Though I think it'd be safer to get some expert guidance if you're planning to mess with registries.
