what was the first anime you ever watched?

it was either pokemon or sailor moon but that was when I was really little
I remember getting up on a saterday morning and watching sailor moon.

Gee, this makes me think lol. Probably Mobile Fighter G Gundam and Voltron i loved my mecha/sci-fi back then...and still do :lol:

Oh god I remember watching an episode of doraemon way back god knows when. It was showing with my other sat morning cartoons (that I don't count as anime)

Anime in Jap. on the computer with English subs(and actually watching the whole series) or the ones on TV with bad quality and English dubs(and watching like...one episode and just recalling it)? >_<* *thinking hard*...on TV...I remember watching a show about Gundam, where the people have to go through this plastic thing to get a suit on and get to the control center of the Gundam...gosh, that was a really weird episode I watched XD...I think I was like...4 Lolz. But the one episode that I watched that I remember really clearly was a Rurouni Kenshin episode...it was the ep. when
Rurouni met a guy that said he was going to regain his old samurai killing going berserk blood thing? And the girl with black hair gave him her favorite ribbon...he goes into a battle...doesn't go berserk...but gets her ribbon soaked in blood XD, which did not have very good consequences
Anyways, the first anime I watched on the computer in Jap., with subtitles, that I am up to date on is NarutoXD.

I also remember watching pokemon and digimon when I was young

XD I forgot those were anime. Although I'm pretty sure I only watched the Digimon movies...Digimon was good...but you can't find them anywhere online in Jap. with English subs...I want to rewatch it...:sob:...Pokemon was pretty good too...I wonder what it sounds like in Jap XD. Although the new version they have now sucks...:P Although that really doesn't matter to me cuz I don't watch TV...

I used to be really into digimon but then when they started the whole digimon spirits thing I kind of quit it there

Oldschool Toonami, before the robot-host switch. Used to run home from elementary school and plop on the floor to watch them with the little brother. I don't miss the month-long battles in the Dragonball series. Cell was just friggin ridiculous.

LOLZ. I remember Dragon Ball Z and Yu Yu Hakusho. I would watch Dragon Ball Z time to time but I don't remember much about Yu Yu Hakusho...XD I used to watch them on TV with English Dubs...XD It's funny how even before I knew a thing about anime in Japanese I didn't like English Dubs...

The first time I heard the Jap dubs for DBZ (started on the English) I thought someone has sped up the playback on the TV haha. It was really weird. I find that if I start something in English, I can't switch to Japanese because it would be too weird. I would now identify the voice with the character. Same with Japanese couldn't switch to English, ever. I think I'm cured to watch Howls Moving Castle in English forever.. lol

XD Lolz, same here. When I first started watching anime 4 years ago I watched the first few things(Naruto, Inuyasha, etc.) in English. I had no idea what my brother was so upset about. Lolz, he made me re-watch every series in Japanese...but by then I had gotten the point :D...

I remember flipping through the channels as a wee lass, looking for something to watch, and I stopped on "Card Captor Sakura" for a minute... but I didn't know what was going on, so I kept going through my channel surfing. It took me another six years to actually find out what the show was and what it was about!!

I never ended up watching DBZ... for the same reasons it's being made fun of right now!! XD (IT'S OVER NINE THOUSAND!!!)

What's amazing about it, is the first anime I ever watched was Naruto, it was the english dub on toonami in 2006 I think. What's neat is it made me interested in japan and I started learning japanese and eventually 3 or 4 years ago I started playing piano and basically music has become half my life. Neat huh?

The first anime I've ever watched was Katekyo Hitman Reborn & Ouran High School Host Club (Thank you, FiammaNoire) and they were awesome. The two combined got me into other animes such as Bleach and TMOHS. I'm glad for anime :)
