I've been looking for songs to play on my violin, and just wondering...

What's your favorite violin solo arrangement from a composer of:
baroque period (ex bach, handel, vivaldi)
classical period (ex hadyn, mozart, beethoven)
romantic period (ex brahms, chopin, tchaikovsky)
contemporary period (modern times 1900-present)

Or you can tell me some other songs that are really good
Or different instrument

I'm just looking for fun interesting songs. Thx

care to clarify what you are asking? do you mean solo as in solo repertoire? or solos in an orchestral piece?

Much of Joe Hisashi's music contains awesome bits that you can play violin. Check him out if you haven't already.

1. Where will I find his music?

2. What would you recommend?

Elgar violin sonata 82 is not too difficult and i love it. XD If you can manage to play them, the Tchaikovsky violin concerto 1st movement or the Sibelius violin concerto mvmt 3 are also awesome.
