Mine would have to be the Melbourne-born Aussie Dave Hughes. Just the way he speaks is hilarious.

don't really have a favorite... live comedy is so much better than on TV so I just go to a club and hope for the best! Usually almost every performer makes me laugh.

*I* certainly do!

Plus Robin Williams, George Carlin, Gilbert Gottfried; the late, much-lamented Phil Hartman, Dennis Wolfberg and Sam Kinison; and pre-9/11 Dennis Miller.

Herman Finkers

But if you're not Dutch I'm pretty sure you don't know him. He's great though, unfortunately he's suffering from cancer :(

Jack Dee,

the sarcasm and depressive attitude is brilliant, and if anyone has watch the 'Live at the apollo' series on BBC will know that he rules at heckling

he was also in the only big brother that i watched, a celebrate series done for Red Nose day (big charity event based around comedy for the non brits)

Jim Carey is my favorite comedian. Not only is he funny but he's been successful where other comedians have failed, being able to play both serious and funny roles.

Sir Rowan Atkinson, anyone?

Well, he's only done a TV series and a film or two, but they were pretty good laughs.

Jack Dee (and everyone who has been on 'Live at the Apollo' so far, I only remember the name of one, Joan Rivers. Who's the persian Comedian? He was in the Mummy. That man is a comedy god) and Johnathan Ross.
