I hope this doesn't sound like a complain/whine thread to you. But I'll let all of you make that sole decision.
Okay, so anyway, the first page of both piano sheets, I tried it to hear how close it sounds like to Miss Faye Wong's rendition - I'm learning how to play music on the piano of just my personal favourites (and I must thank Ichigo's Sheet Music for helping me to find songs like Moonlight Densetsu and Laputa's Theme Song!).
So umm, I only tried the treble cleft (I only reached Grade 2 piano so I can't do things like reading notes on-the-fly and playing with two hands quickly) for both sheets, just the first page.
Both confused me thoroughly - so I resorted to listening to the .MIDI files.
My conclusion?
The first beat seems more 'professional' - more keys and more sophisticated to play, but here's where my 'complain' starts - it's too upbeat!
It's supposed to be a kind of a ballad, a sad song, you know...
The second one was closer, mood wise. But it doesn't seem to follow the beats of the original song.
I hope I didn't offend anybody with my opinions. I would like to hear what everyone has to say about this...
