People actually bother calling it by its full name? I've seen bits of it. I didn't like it. I do like the Robot Chicken sketches about it though.

It was one of my closet favorites back when it was airing on Toonami (DIC -- Doom InCarnate version). A few years after they stopped airing it, I obtained the uncut japanese version which helped fix a bit of the disjunct-ness of the show.

While I think the anime was done well in its day (it's not dated by CCS, Lyrical Nanoha, and Shugo Chara) and genera, I can't stand the voice actors. The plot's fine and a good historic piece of magical girl anime — more like the early de facto — but the way how they portrayed the characters voices made my hair stand end on end.

Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon was one of the first shows that turned me on to Anime, I loved it whenever I could catch it on, but back then I was like... in Elementary School and wasn't so focused on learning what time shows came on TV, I just caught them when I could.

I watched it and I was a huge fan I just went to supanova yesterday and cosplayed as sailor moon so many people asked for my photo it was random XD

Heh, I have to admit, most people would get put off by Sailor Moon's seiyuu. Sharp pitch and girly screaming...but somehow, I'm fine with it.

Que raro...... Just kidding! As strange as it is, I kinda wish they would bring it back on the air.

the first season seemed really more like it was aimed at little girls but later on in the series I thought some parts of the show became more mature like the plot. the first seson was always
1)they needed energy so they steal some
2) sailormoon trys to stop them
3)there was always a monster involved which they had to fight

I'm not sure how to say it but watch a few eps from the first seson and then from the last and you'll get what I'm talking about.

I remember. But even though it was really repetitive, you still had to love it.

Although I've heard of it, I've never watched it and thanks to chelseamay95 I probably never will either. Sounds boring...

no don't not watch it because of me it is still a great anime and later on the plot gets alot deeper and losses that pattern
just watch a few episodes and see if you like it

I was watching an ep of SM a couple days agao and a question popped in my head. You guys know how at the beginning of the inner scouts transformations, the part where they say _________ Star Power! and grab their pens, they put on nail polish according to their costume color. You know: blue for Mercury, red for Mars, green for Jupiter, and orange for Venus. Well why? They all wear gloves so what's the point of the nail polish? Is it just like a filler scene?

I think it is for a filler because all the sailor scouts wear gloves
