finally completed and flew my new plane, a scale Cessna 182 Skylane!

pics here! (http://solsar.com/gallery/index.php?cat=11)

it flew great, but the landing was kinda rough due to a crosswind and the fact that I hadn't flow in 4 months... minor damage, easy to fix ^_^

Reminds me of when I made a model plane when I was like 11 or so, the sweet memories ~ went crazy with my dad's paint for his scale models of trucks XD

Actually that was to make sure the wings wouldn't break off if it hits a tree or something

Wow, that is cool :D Most I've ever done is a model of a vintage car - I'm much better with plasticine, hehe ;)

thanks XD

I flew it again and had 2 flights... first one was awesome and taxied in after landing, but then I messed with the fuel settings and the engine died on approach X_X ... landed in the weeds about 100' short of the runway (good thing real planes don't do that)... no major damage but the plane got real dirty

gotta do some work on the fuel system and put new wing bolts in... that should keep me busy for a while
