Bah, I'm in a pretty horrid mood. Yeah, Michael was just an entertainer, but he was quite an important entertainer, and I've been listening to his music with my family for a very long time. The guy really shaped dance, music, and the whole industry quite a bit.

He's had his share of problems, and it's sad to see him go like that, especially when it looked like his life was just starting to straighten out somewhat.

RIP

The man, the story, the legend that took the world stronger than anything before him. May he find peace in his days to come.

Same here. It's just like when Heath Ledger died.

Yeah, I first heard about 5 hours after the incident when my room mate was like "Oh by the way, did you hear Michael Jackson died today?" I somehow could not believe him or that this would have happened so soon.

Not to me, I never heard of Heath Ledger before that. Heath Ledger isn't even close to being as legendary as Jackson, he only became as legendary after his death, MJ already was legendary while he was still alive.

You misunderstood what I was saying.

I've been watching Micheal Jackson videos all day. I actually laughed out loud a bunch of times - and not because the videos were funny. I was laughing because he was such a badass that just smiling at his awesomeness wasn't enough. He was so cool that I had to laugh out loud. The only other thing that has made me laugh out loud out of sheer badassery is Gurren Lagann.

Micheal Jackson, you were as Hot Blooded as the Gurren Brigade, and you were actually real. That's pretty fucking awesome. I'll miss you, sir. D:
And yeah, Heath Ledger wasn't nearly as cool as MJ. MJ was Kamina-level cool, which is so ridiculous that I don't even know what to say.
Oh well. I'm glad he's finally getting the positive press he deserves at least. He truly was a genius.

Edit: lol, speaking of Gurren Lagann x Jackson...when I texted my friend to tell him that Micheal had died, he responded with: "He may be gone, but he's on our backs and in our hearts!" So I'm not the only one who saw universe-exploding levels of awesome in him. XD

I guess his heart just... couldn't beat it.

He gave so much more than most celebrities - not for publicity, but for the sake of giving.

Man, it sucks that Michael jacksons death is dominating all the publicity and keeping the limelight away from billy mays. Billy mays is an american hero

Btw, im tired of molestation jokes

Never heard of Billy Mays. And if he was an American hero, he'll have to wait his turn. Jackson was a hero to people across the entire world.
