hey all. I one of the newest here, thoug I did come here long ago under a different name...I just don't what my username was... XP any way, I do have some songs to show you all...please DO NOT DISTRUBUTE, STEAL, OR USE WITHOUT MY PERMISSION!! >:-U

and without further ado:

9231: This first one is Poco Rizzo. Originaly, I was writing this for my Ska band (The Dukes of Nowhere), but I decided to write it out for my school's Jazz Band instead. This is the theme son for an action RPG game I have in mind about an anthropomorphic Cat, named Rizzo. I tell more about that later. This song has an Alto Sax. solo in the Beginning, a solo section for all three types of Saxes (Alto, Tenor, and [my fav!] Bari.) and a quasi solo from the fourth trombone. I say quasi, because it's only one note. This took only one day to write, amazingly 0_o;;

9232: This is a song I posted on here, when I had my old screen name (I still don't remember it...was it PHAILURE2THRIVE? I don't know!). This is an Alto Sax Solo done in a magnificent russian like dance. My teacher liked so much, she told me to write it out for the band! THE BAND!!! :D

well thats all the songs I have for now. If any of you know where to copyright for cheap, PLEASE LET ME KNOW SO NO ONE CAN STEAL MY HARD WORK!!!! >:U

...sorry for that, but I don't wan't people to steal my art X-(

One question:

Why are you showing .Mus files if you don't want people to steal your works?

Any person with Finale can just edit them whiles an mp3 file would not run with the same luck completely. ;p

Also, from the moment of creation, your works are already copyrighted to you. But if you want to register it, maybe take a look here: http://www.copyright.gov/ if you live in U.S.

I really like that second one. It would make a badass full orchestra piece if you did it right. :D

As for copyrighting, you could go to creativecommons.org. People still have the right to use and share your work, but you could choose a license where people can't profit off of it and other stuff.

I remember hearing the second one somewhere... http://forums.ichigos.com/showthread.php?t=12949 ... now there's where I heard it (and where you can find your former username. :) )

By the way, I remember that it was this piece that influenced me to seriously study the functions at chords (I didn't understand the purpose of suspended chords and this piece - meas. 15-16 - kind of helped me get a start to understand why they are used).

For the first one, I can't say much since I'm not really much into that style. xp

Oh wow! thanks clarinetist! I'm Suprised that my old thread still was here after so many months O_o; anyway, That song (Mi sweet Lady) never fails to suprise me...I never really thought much of the song personally! And yet, I have come to find that the song is perhaps my Magnumopus, because no one seems to care about the rest of my music.
