As most fans of KH know there are many mysteries about events in the entire KH series. Here is the place to talk about them. I have a few I would like solved.

1. Princesses of Heart can be princesses without actually being princesses of their world. So is Kairi the princess of Hollow Bastion?

2. If she is the princess of Hollow Bastion, that would normally mean that there is a King or a Queen. Who is it? In the real Ansem Reports, Ansem the Wise pretty much said that he was the ruler of Hollow Bastion. So is he Kairi's father?

3. There is a chance that she is not the actual princess of Hollow Bastion. In that case I noticed some thing. It may just be a design choice. But whos the only one other character from Hollow Bastion with red hair? Axel. Could he be Kairi's father?

I would say that Axel isn't Kairi's father... It's an interesting idea and certainly not one I've ever heard brought up before, but for all we know it could be true. However, Nobodies don't necessarily look like their "Somebody." Roxas' hair and Namine's hair are both different colors than Sora and Kairi. If, however, Axel didn't change too much when he lost his heart (like how Xehanort looks a lot like Xemnas), we can still say that he and Kairi aren't related, because Axel and Kairi's hair are different kinds of red. Kairi's hair is darker than Axel's, and if Nomura wanted us to catch on to them being related, he would've made the similarities between the two much more obvious. Kind of like how Sora and Roxas' eyes are exactly the same, and they stand similarly, fight similarly, etc.

As for Ansem the Wise being Kairi's father.... I really don't know. I'd have to say that if that does end up being true, I won't complain. It'd be an interesting addition to the story.

Hmm... interesting deduction. Ok something that's always bugged me, where are the parents? you think they would notce their child being gone for a year.

"Sora, dinner's ready come on down. Sora?"

What always bugged me about that is that she doesn't even WAIT for him to respond before calling his name a second time :\ I always thought that was dumb... <_<

Nomura left out the parents to stress the relationships between Sora, Riku, and Kairi. The entire theme of the games is Friendship, so in order to really present that as blatantly as possible he did not show any of the other relationships that you and I may consider important, i.e. one that would make us want to go home. Eliminating those relationships made Riku and Kairi the only reasons Sora desired success on his adventure instead of, "I have to get home because my mom is worrying about me." That's not what the game was about.

true. now... why didnt Riku get the keyblade. True he turned to darkness, but doesn't the keyblade legend say that the wielder brought good things and ruin. that must mean that somewhere along the line a keyblade user was evil. so why couldn't riku get the keyblade. not that i'm complaining cuz i would've hated to play as riku in KH1.

okay. why does rikus sword change three times. in kh 1 he had soul eater. that changed into the keyblade wit the heart on it. then in chain of memories he had the soul eater. in kh2, however, he had what looks to me like the soul eater, but it was called Way to the Dawn. are they the same sword or what?

Two of Riku's three swords are related: Soul Eater and Way to the Dawn. At some point during the events of KH2, Soul Eater turned into Way to the Dawn. To make it more obvious than actual appearances, Riku used "Soul Eater" to refer to Way to the Dawn at one point. The dark keyblade was created by Xehanort's heartless from the hearts of six of the seven princesses of heart when he possessed Riku. Riku was never given the keyblade at the beginning because this particular keyblade is a weapon of light (this last is my personal theory and should not be taken as canon). In the secret video, Birth by Sleep, you see two evil people wielding keyblades which we can assume are dark keyblades.

Also, there is no evidence that Axel is from Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden. He is a member of Organization XIII, but he was not one of Ansem's apprentices.
