I have a piece that I want to hear. But I only have it in a .pdf file. Could someone turn it into a .mus file for me please?

Wrong forum (this should be asked in the Music Discussion forum). Why can't you do it yourself, anyway, though? It's going to be just as much work for the person doing it for you as it is for you seeing as the tool I talked about in the full version of Finale is only about 20% reliable, so it's actually more work sometimes when you use it than it would be to just put it in manually.

There's a tool in finale that lets you turn pdf into mus?

Not really. You have to use the "SmartScore Lite" tool, which is basically meant for using a scanner and scanning sheets into Finale. However, you can import a TIFF file, as well, and you can turn a PDF file into a TIFF by "printing" it using Microsoft Document Imaging, which prints it to an MDI file, which can then be saved to a TIFF format. It really doesn't work that well, though...

Well I did put it in myself but there are things missing. Like there are missing grace notes, there's a glissando that won't work right, etc...

Ok. Well, if you post the .mus file and the .pdf file I would be glad to put those in for you. Nevertheless, remember for future requests like this that this is not the correct forum to ask in.

Under the "quick reply" there's a button labeled "Go Advanced". Click on it and scroll down to another button that says "Manage Attachments" and click on that. You should be able to figure it out from there.

A'ight they're there. When I put I changed it over to a .mus file, it moved around some stuff. You'll see when you look at it.

This is using Finale 2008, so I don't know if you'll have problems opening it. Let me know if you do and hopefully we can figure something out.

Hmmm...you're using Notepad, correct? And what exactly do you need the .MUS file for, may I ask?

Oh, well then a midi or mp3 file mixed from the .MUS I made should be ok? The only other alternative I can think of is to make a MusicXML file and send it to PorscheGTIII and have him open it and save it (he has 2007).
