Hopefully this is in the right subforum...

Actually you know I was just going to basically copy this blog post (http://lelangir.dotq.org/?p=663) into the forum, but BBC is not the greatest thing for this kind of stuff. In the post I give my own transcription of the Bakemonogatari ED, since after SoulStrider posted his arrangement I felt obliged to do a transcription that was more faithful to the original melody. Anyway I already uploaded the midi and pdf for my version.

...that is unless this kind of thread is technically spam.

Nice, I also made a version couple of days ago.
Bakemonogatari Ending (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=trGCnLcZHfA)
I though it was nice to add some extra notes while the melody was playing.

I think you should do with the bass part, but if that's your style than it's fine.

I also made the opening of Bakemonogatari : Staple Stable (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ePgjB8kI91w)

the TV size versions on youtube don't have great audio and so the left hand is reallllly hard to hear. I can kind of make out the pattern but eh. The lead sheet is basically what I was going for ;)

That's what I've been trying to tell people. Youtube sound quality sucks  Yet they expect us to transcribe off of it <_< but then again it's easy to type it in the search box rather than looking for the mp3. But you can still predict the type of chords and harmony based around a melody me thinks. I create chords through bass alone (figured bass). As for pattern and rhythm, you'll need a high quality mp3 for that. Nice blog btw.

I have the mp3 for Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari on my computer. Vocal on and vocal off. I can PM the mp3's to you if you want. They're at 320kbps too.

This piece reminds me a lot of “Lost My Pieces” from the Toradora OST (same composer, Yukari Hashimoto)

Of course…crappy midi doesn’t really do it justice. This song has a few abrupt modulations – abrupt in the sense that there isn’t a lot of preparation for them, but they don’t sound bad. I rather like the color they give. Hashimoto likes to, in her softer, solo piano pieces, use a lot of ascending stepwise melodies. It’s gives a strange sound, but it’s nice. The style of these pieces is pretty unique.

Omg! Awesome!
How about these two?
The first one has already been transcribed, but only for piano. I need the violin part too.
(from Katekyo Hitman Reborn!)

(from Pandora Hearts)

I love the violin part from Tsuna Kakusei.
And as for Pandora, it's, in my opinion, an awesome source of beautiful music, especially violin music ^.^ Sooo just check them out, maybe you'll transcribe them ^.^

EDIT:
Sorry, I had to remove those songs, because it's not allowed to post copyrighted mp3s here.
