yeah . . .a friend of mine on another site asked if the flute she bought online was a good one . . . Then finding out they had really nicely priced student violins there too . . . I held off.

Maybe a good 3 days . . .

Then I got my debit card within reach while looking at it again and the rest as they say is history.

Any actual learning places for my new instrument anyone? ^^;;

You might want to stick this in the music section. But good for you. I suggest you get some lessons to learn the basics if you don't know them already. My sister rented a violin from a music store in the city, and she's going to go for lessons. The other day I broke one of her strings accidentally, but it wasn't a big deal. Anyway, you should just get some lessons to start off, that's what I suggest. Best of luck learning a new instrument!

Yeah, you really want to look into finding private lessons. I know when I was in middle school and didn't have any lessons, there was a fuck load of mistakes to fix the first few months I started getting lessons in high school. :eek:

I can't say I have. Anyways, i would start taking lessons whether they be private or group. your music store probably has a list of private teachers that could help. do u live near a university?

@ridcapski: u r welcome here.
