Anyone here plays Guitar Hero online on Wii? :D I have world tour and I'm waiting for Spoons to get me GH5 :P

Also, at what difficulty do you guys play? I was kind of wondering if it's quick to start playing hard difficulty after playing the game for 3 days :heh:

Well, I don't have a Wii, but I HAVE played it before on PS3.
I play on Expert mode, simply because I've played too much to the point that I can tackle them XD

If you have a good sense of rhythm and hand-eye coordination (having played a bunch of rhythm based games beforehand helps too), go for it. I started in Hard mode because Medium was too easy, it's a bit challenging at first, but keep playing it and you'll get used to it, hahahah

4 is okay, but not many hard songs other than the Van Halen, and yes, i always play on expert :3

I can play a few songs on expert mode, but mostly I play on Hard. I haven't played the game in a couple months though. I have it on Xbox.

I like the notes on Guitar Hero, but I hate the GH guitar. The buttons are too far apart. I prefer the Rockband guitar, since the buttons are close together. If I'm playing scales (or something like that) I can just slide my fingers instead of pressing each of the buttons. =)

I can slide my fingers with the guitar hero guitar just fine

Still got a lot to practise, I keep getting confused during solos with a lot of different notes to hit x_x

Bit of a tangent, but I like playing the drum kit in Rock Band with my hands...

ah.. GH, I played with some of my friends in the PS2 lol...

the arrangement of the button L2, L1, R1, R2, then X is somehow hard...

why not, L2, L1, X, R1, R2? I got confused with that always... @_@

Hmmm, guitar hero is ok but I prefer Frets on Fire. 1 its free, 2 huge song database, 3 moddability to the max XD! and 4 did I mention its free?

The only downside though is that it uses the F1 - F5 keys, and F5 is always that more space away from the other, so that stuffed me up for a bit. I don't play much but I generally play on Awesome (which is the highest level equivalent of guitar hero) or medium (equal either to guitar hero medium/hard depending on the song), but that's only when I'm too tired or stuffed to operate properly (try playing it after being awake for 30 hours@_@)

Some friends of mine have played Frets on Fire and they said it's pretty bad...

Well, the biggest problem is that you play it with your keyboard. It's not too bad until you realize you don't have a two-way paddle to hit notes.

and a nightmare with a laptop keyboard..

You can set it to use 2 strumming keys (in my case enter and shift) to account for the lack of two way strumming. As for the keyboard issue, well, who cares. Its free and I'm on a tight budget. This isn't to say that I don't like guitar hero though. Played it at a friends and I thoroughly enjoyed.....yet somehow I always got stuck with the bass......
