ooooooh i remember GCSE compositions and all that jazz.

Im going to say good job on that, cause when we did ours, the majority of people couldnt stay in one key, letalone using melodic development etc.

Perhaps try fully exploiting the piano more a bit next time? Like, more than two notes at a time or something? just a suggestion, i know exploitation of the instrument earns quite a few marks.

For the first composition ever I thought it was quite well done. Simple harmony and simple melody. Felt a bit repetitive after the same pattern continued for half the piece but other than that I think you should be very proud of yourself. That squeaking door in the middle totally botched the mood though :lol:.

Pretty nice. In my opinion, I would probably take this a little slower and add more dynamic variance. I feel that the tempo should be more free than what it currently is.

Great job for a first composition!! Definitely keep at it. It was interesting, at 1:02 I was thinking, "ok, this should go in to D major", but you went into C minor. That's really interesting haha. Then it's into F# minor, so that's even more interesting form from Cmin/Ebmaj haha. You have interesting harmonic progression, which is really cool haha. Keep going!
