I must say, when I saw the first episode of the halo anime on waypoint yesterday, I was impressed. The halo anime is actually very good! :P Has anybody else seen it yet?

Several...people? Are making an anime of Halo. I think the most promising will come from Bones, the same people who made Eureka seveN. If my memory serves me correctly, they are all making different story lines though.

Bones has quickly slid into chaotic plot anime genera, which isn't a bad thing per se, but I'm not too certain with this anime's target audience. Given that they're trying to target the action gamer crowd, and that Halo has a very simple to understand plot, I pray that Bones is just animating this production and not writing the script, otherwise they'll miss their mark.

On the other hand, if they do not successfully appeal to the gamer crowd, it's likely that it'll appeal to the anime crowd and draw more people into buying the game. Well played Microsoft.

this will either be great or horrible, I'm not really a fan of halo so I hope for the fans this does not crash and burn.
The only good anime of a game that is some what good (besides pokemon)
was the disagea anime a friend of mine wanted me to do a video of it so I saw the anime before I had the game. sadly the series was only 13 episodes long but it was a good length like they weren't stretching the plot or anything

Erm, I'm kinda lost. I watched the first and second episodes of Halo Legends, but they were entirely different. Is it supposed to be like that, or did I look at two different shows? I'm confused. :heh:

If the drawing styles and stories were different, you probably looked at two different shows.

Halo Legends is ok. I love Halo and naturally prefer the game. The art style is pretty good stories are average... I can't really make another comment.

I heard Mamoru Oshii's involved with directing one of the films. That might be worth checking out.
