Greetings again everyone. I was just wondering if someone could help me identify a particular singing/music style I quite like. I've recently begun watching gunslinger girl and quite like the ending theme. However I am curious to know what style it is. Here is a youtube link to it.

I don't want to know the opera type bit, but the singing part that starts around 0:22

Would really appreciate it if someone could inform me on what type of singing/music this is as I have gained quite a liking for it. Thanks in advance:lol:

That just sounds like someone talking along with a... somewhat modernized baroque-ish song.

Yeah, it's just someone talking O_o

(At least, in my opinion)

Well, the song is Après un rêve by Gabriel Fauré(which is a Romantic!) but modernised. The bit at 0:22, is yeah, just a freestyle interlude.

Hmm, I've heard this style of singing (talking if you must) in other songs......maybe it doesn't have a name? I just want to know so I can find more of the same style lol.

Romantic, okay. I'm not that great at categorizing classical music.
