What are some good (free) softwares I could use to draw on my computer???

I currently use paint.net but that's not that great :(

GIMP is a good one.

Graphics Gale is good n' free. Open Canvas and Paint Tool Sai are great and only cost about $70 each. Definitely worth the money.
And GIMP, of course, though I've never really liked it much for painting (or PS, for that matter.) Check them all out though, and see what suits you.

If your talking about Free software, I suggest GIMP.
It has features like Photoshop which is nice for some graphics newbies out there who want to use software with more features than MSPaint for free.

Personally, I use Photoshop CS4 Extended for my artwork. & image editing jobs.

+1 to PaintToolSAI for raster. Something about it just feels right when compared to Photoshop and Gimp when DRAWING the image. Manipulating an existing image is a different story.

And I'm going to inject Inkscape because vector art is the future, and it still feels superior to Illustrator; which is really all the vector clients that exist.

I pretty much use GIMP when it comes to doing pixel outline traces when it comes to Making sprites from anime screenshots, like.

I used GIMP to do the outline over the screenshot image layer, and then I took that outline into MSPaint to do the coloring, and then I saved it as transparent .PNG in Photoshop.
When it comes to me, I just use a bunch of software when doing pixel art, lol.
When it comes to CG artwork by itself, I prefer to use only Photoshop tho.
