Hello!
This is my first time showing my work here on Ichigo's and I would like to know your thoughts on it; don't go easy on me, I can take any kind of destructive or constructive critics. Everything you want to say about my works is welcome =D.

This very first midi I'm going to post is a rock composition I made a few months ago. My mid-long-term plans are to make a visual kei band!! So this is one of those compositions I have been working on to achieve that. The title for now is just "VCED" XD.

I'm having big trouble trying to write this in Finale so I'm not going to post the score for now (only the first 2 bars XD), I'll just try to tell you some things about this little piece (I apologize for my poor English when talking about music).

Ok, the instrumentation includes a celesta (that would be played by me on an electric piano until I can afford the real thing), a male singer (singing in castilian, my native language; represented by a weird synth sound in the midi), 2 electric guitars with distortion, a 5 strings electric bass (meant to be played with a pick) and a standard rock drum set.
The main tonality is Eb major and it goes to C minor, F minor, Ab major, F minor, C minor and then it comes back to Eb major XD.
The whole piece is in 4/4 and the tempo is crotchet = 192.

Hey, that is a very nice composition! I see the time and work there. I like your melodic line(Quite short lyrics gonna be this, though). The style of your melody keep reminding me of old cartoon tunes, maybe is the harmony choice. The guitars and bass are fun to listen because they don't keep doing the same tiring pattern most rock bands do. And the key changes keep the piece fresh.

Something that would benefit the piece is to have a section near the end that help to make contrast with what you have here (Maybe giving a role to the celesta since is not doing much), and a climax for have an impacting closing. Otherwise, is an enjoyable piece.
