Hi guys,
Currently, I am looking for an electric keyboard,

- I've played the piano for 5 years
- I own an upright
- It's only for convenience (mainly in the night, my neighbours complain)
- 88 weighted key notes
- a pedal
- a hole for headphones

and thats pretty much it... it's mainly just a subsitute for a piano when I can't go on the piano. My budget is around $1000.

Right now I'm edging towards the "Yamaha YPG635"

Thanks in advance!!

Check out kijiji, you could get a digital piano on there for less then that price and there wont be tax otherwise I'd lean towards any yamaha keyboard just cause I like the company =p

I own a Yamaha digital piano and it's fantastic! Ok the price difference between mine and your budget is probably tremendous, but Yamaha does make great keyboards. At that budget it's a good one. So I say go for it.

Thanks to the people who replied,
@aizen.sama, I checked out the site, but it is only in America??

Okay my decision is set, I am definately buying the Yamaha YPG635,
but does anyone know which site is a cheap place to purchase? Btw I live in Australia, so nothing too far

I'd rather get a genuine used grand piano than that. Or a motif XS + other studio equipment if you're into music production. If I had that much money I would definitely spend it on the latter.
