In Board Games Monopoly, Chutes and Ladders is my favorite game.In Monopoly I always win

In card game Speed, Trashcan, Solitaire, BlackJack .

I love the occasional game of Risk. I'll also rate Monopoly good for long hours. For quicker games it would be Chess.
A pack of cards is still always going to be the best suited to parties though.

...Through experience, chess takes WAY longer than monopoly... at least an hour, for me...

Cluedo is great. A lot more strategy than you think.

Triviant, Shougi, Chuu shougi, Xiangqi, Othello / Reversi, occasionally some RISK, Scrabble, Colonists from Catan.
