Well, fictional characters often have qualities that just isn't possible in real-life. It's more of an inspiration thing rather than to take it seriously.

For instance, I still think Arcueid Brunestud is charming as hell. I suppose you'd risk getting your neck bitten off, but I wouldn't mind being the object of her vampiric impulses if it's to quench her insatiable bloodlust.
