hi everyone,

Recently my flute got damaged. It is an open hole flute and one of the pad is coming out. The flute plays just fine but you can see the pad hanging down and incredibly, it has not fallen of yet. I am planning on going to the repair shop but do any of you know how much it might cost?? because i am quite stressed about that. :(

thank you

I am sorry about your flute,<_< I think that you need not worry about repairing it as the cost would not be much. Just go and check it out if it is higher that you thought off, start saving money for getting it repaired. :) I did the same for my guitar when it broke. @_@ I just though about cheering you up and say what I would do in such a situation. Hope that it helps you too. ^_^

Don't worry too much about this, pads fall off sometimes. You'll probably want to get it fully serviced, if 1 pad has almost fallen off, its a chance that some of the others wont be far away. To replace 1 pad, its about $5-10, although some places might not do just 1 pad. For a proper service you're looking around $40-$90 American. Hope that helps.

Just a note that the prices are just converted from what they are over here in Australia, so they might not be exact. But I'd say that that is an expected price range.

I have to agree. I got my flute fully serviced a while ago for about $80 (U.S.).

I then sold it. Heh.

If you're getting one part fixed, chances are it's time to get the whole thing checked up.
