Can anyone tell me what Nobuo Uematsu uses for his pieces in Final Fantasies 7, 8, and 9 (and possibly 10)?

I mean specifically what keyboard or music program do his sounds come from? Because there are a few in particular that I wouldn't mind using. Does anyone have any idea where he gets his sounds?

I doubt this question will be answered swiftly. Google isn't much help these days, the results are far too broad.

EDIT - After a little bit of research, I found that they use soundfonts, in a different format than .sf2 in a lot of the games from the 90s.

I don't know what he used. But there are many soundfonts and vsts out there that can match these quality. Is nothing of high quality, so is not hard to find something close to the sounds he used in those games.

Always so helpful Nyu! I did some searching on some free soundfont websites, and I managed to to find the EXACT sounds I was looking for! Problem solved!
