Have you ever cosplayed? Do you want to cosplay? Have a cosplay in mind?

Then share all of that with us! Post something that you've done before, post something that you recommend people to do, and post places on where to get them!

Let me start! I want this (http://www.hellocosplay.com/haruhi-suzumiya-school-uniform-boy-kyon-cosplay-costume-p-186.html) as my first cosplay! It looks cheap and stuff. =D

Also, recommend some links and stuff.

Ooh~ Kyon cosplay, that's a good starting point~ Good luck with your first cosplay!!

Hehe~ Cosplay~ Been doing it since 2003, and making my own stuff since 2004/5~ Most of my stuff I usually post on ACP (http://www.acparadise.com/acp/display.php?a=15211) (American Cosplay Paradise) or cosplay.com (http://www.cosplay.com/member/19459).

Some of the characters I've done so far: Rozen Maiden (Suigintou), Code Geass (Villetta, both 1st season and R2 outfits), Gundam 00 S1 + S2 (Setsuna), Hanasakeru Seishounen (Rumati), Prince of Tennis (lots) and a lot more. Next on my list would be CLAMP School Detectives with some of my cosplayer friends, hopefully for Anime Expo this year~ We'll see~

It's fun, especially when you do it in groups. Not for everyone though I guess? ^^ Have lots of friends that started cosplaying and then stopped~ Sad times, but definitely have met a lot of other people through cosplaying ^^

For extensive information and advice on how to go about making your own costumes, props, etc, I definitely suggest going to cosplay.com's forums (http://www.cosplay.com/forum.php)too. They have pretty informative threads on those things for those interested.

I actually wanna go in a school girl costume, preferably K-ON! But I gotta obtain an androgynous body to do it first. Meaning, I'm dieting like crazy and trying to exercise (I failed at the latter today XD).

Good luck with dieting and exercise, but don't overdo it, ne?~ =D

XD K-On!! Friends convinced me to join with them for that cosplay, and then it never happened. ^^; Luckily it was only in planning stages.

My friend's guy friend does crossplay quite often too~ Think he did Yuki from Haruhi at a con in the past 2 years or so (been to too many blends together into one pool @__@;; )~ And other characters, but can't remember @__@

I need a proper wig, though. My long blonde wig gets tangled up easily, and my orange wig is way to boyish.

I have cosplayed before as Princess Sakura from Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles. This year however I am going to go as Yuuki Cross from Vampire Knight.

I'm tryin' to decide on another cosplay that won't cost alot...

Though, it doesn't seem like that won't be possible. -_-;

Erm... Chii from Chobits is pretty simple and cheap. I mean, plastic ears and a frilly Elegant Gothic Lolita dress is all that's required.

Who said I wanted Chii? D= She's...too easy.

*looks at Kyon cosplay* Then again...

Hmm...Well, it's not like I'm looking for a character one...but I want something plain-looking! K-ON! looks interesting...but it's $80...

Now hold up a second. Chii is easy to cosplay when just wearing the ear muffs. Wearing her standard garb, on the other hand, is not easy to pull off, especially if you're choosing a particular dress, getting the hair clamps right, and even her shoes.

Kyon, now, that's easy: buy the suit, get the right color hair, and you're done. With Chii, you'd have to do customizations or spend a heck of a lot of money from Gothic and Lolita magazine, or take a chance on ebay.

The way you said it made it look easy...
