I stumbled upon this competition, called, "The Young Composers Challenge"

I believe it's a United States only thing.

You have to be between 13 and 18 to participate in it, so I'm too old to do it. I got really excited about it and then I saw the age limits, but I figured it's only fair to share this opportunity with my fellow composers here at Ichigo's.

You guys are all really talented, and anyone who is between the ages mentioned above, should give it a shot. Everyone deserves a chance, and may the best composer win!

Sorry for posting in the wrong place. And about the workshop, you're not required to go to that to participate in the challenge. Also, I'm 20, I'm a young composer, but i'm not young enough hahaha. I never though I would wish to be 18 again at such an early age.
