Is anyone here familiar with jazz pianist and composer Hiromi Uehara? I have NEVER seen anyone with such controlled technique. She will do insanely fast speed runs up and down the piano at pianissimo and still make every note clearly staccato. It's nuts.

Here is an example:

She has a huge range of styles. Anyway, I was just curious if anyone else was familiar and if I could perhaps introduce others to some good music. :)

Fun. I think I have heard her performing before. :) The last video was very fun the performance and hair too. ;)

Yeah, I know who Hiromi is. The Jazz composer and pianist. She's impressive, nothing else to add to that. :) Her specialty is improvisation. She once did a duet with Chick Corea, song titled Spain, which shows how excellent she is at accompanying and of course, improv. I just want to recommend some more of her videos showcasing her great playing style. ^_^
