Hey there.

I've been doing compositions for about 5 years now.
The majority of the stuff I made was with no music theory knowledge at all.
Some of the later ones I have done have some music theory in it.

Also, I will give out the pdfs on request (even though my stuff is easy to transcribe).
I'm not expecting anyone to like anything I did, but please give comments. :)

Oh god man. So much music!! Maybe to make the list a bit less intimidation can you select one composition from each of those piles that you feel is your best to show?

..Woah, maybe you could like, spread them out (post a new one every day or something)...? I can't possibly listen to all of that at once @_@

I haven't done composition in quite a few months.
So, there is a big list in one post... didn't want to start spam in my post either. :P

Anyway, if you think this list is big, then your mind will melt if you see the full list of compositions I've done. These are just the ones I actually feel comfortable showing.
Some of the others I didn't upload, I just feel are too personal, while others I'm just feel totally ashamed and embarrassed when I have others listen.

I'll edit that post, if you'd like to see a personal list of what I think are the best.

But I do personally think:
Parkison Melodies (Literally spent more than a year making it and went through 8 different pianists).
Ballade of Secrets
Unheard Horn

I personally think those are the best.
But every composition I did so far has some good parts, while the other parts are just.... blah. :P

Also, I have finale 2010 now and I can make pdf's of whatever you'd like in that list.
It'd probably make things easier if you could see the music while listening to it.
(I use pdf995 with Finale to make my pdfs, or even better I use Adobe PDF Reader to make them at times).

I'm pretty sure my mind would not melt if I saw your full list of compositions. We're not appalled with how prolific you are, just that you expect us to listen to and comment on all of these at once.

Your compositions are full of great little five second fragments, but they lack direction. They need to feel like they're going somewhere. It's great that you just "let the Muse speak," but some planning and editing are required to make a composition articulate.

Keep it up.

So I just browsed through alot of those that you put up. hickup sort of made me smile at the start...those were definately hickups

Some criticisms...I think every time you try to divert from your comfort zone, your music goes really awkward. It's a good thing to try new things though so keep at it. There was some VERY VERY wierd dissonances, even the ones you stated were based on music theory knowledge. I could not follow the voice leading for many of your pieces and, dare I say..., not in a good way.
