In roughly 3 months we are gonna have a concert.
I'm thinking about joining the concert and actually perform on the piano
the problem is...i don't know what piece should i play.

i'm thinking along the line of Anime music and Classical music

the problem with picking Anime music is that it is kinda easy and is not really that fit for informal performances

Classical music...i have NO IDEA what to pick and play...ARG!!! so frustrated

I don't know your skill level, so I can't give advice on anime/classical music yet . . but you should also consider some game music. There are some good Final Fantasy pieces suitable for performance (look up the official piano arrangements though). I played Rufus' Welcoming Ceremony back in July.

I'm playing a piece that I really like right now by Bach. It's originally for organ, but you can remove the sections that have parts for the feet. It's his Fugue in D minor. The second part of the famous "Toccata and Fugue in D minor." It's a whole lot of fun.

I'm currently working on an arrangement of "Affections Touching Across Time I" from the first Inuyasha movie. (A very simple but extraordinarily beautiful melody -- I'm trying not to screw it up too badly... :heh:) If you want, I can send you what I have so far. (Please specify either .tif or .pdf format.)

I've finally finished the above-mentioned arrangement. Please PM or e-mail me if you wish to see it. (I've sent Ichigo a submission request, but he hasn't answered yet. Also, I can't figure out how to combine the two pages in Illustrator 8.0. If you want a .pdf file, I'll have to send it as separate pages.) If you have any corrections to offer, please let me know.
