this new song is called In Your Arms. It's an old song I made up ever since I started to play the piano. It has a slow and peaceful melody. The file is listed below in midi format, attached. Hope you like it!

Nice and soothing, you can really feel the emotion . . try to drag out the ending a bit =) And I think your program has messed up your pedaling or something, because it gets too mushy/blurred for my taste.

Yup, i guess i should just cancel the pedals, Noteworthy is such a hard program...meaning it doesn't directly follow what you really want, well that's for me. it's pretty easy to put in notes, using the keyboard...but the song ends up bad. I have Finale notepad, :heh: except i don't know how to use it well. :sweatdrop:

Maybe try to add some "BREAKS" to your song
Some parts you can actually extend a note longer and end the phrase.
hm...let's see how should i put it...it's sorta like a VERY LONG SENTENCE right now
don't know if that helps...

Nice job on the chords. They work quite well! You just seem to...continue the song to much, by this I mean its like playing a whole entire song in eigth notes. I know your not doing that, but its like that. Nice "ring" to it though. 7/10

Hm, I have to disagree with Nightmare on this. The weak point is in my opinion the chords you choose, and the way you use them. And as Nightmare said, it seems as if you only use 8notes the entire track.. X_X

:( SIGH i give up......

The reason i barely add strong chords to my music is becuase i've got small fingers, and am not use to playing more than 3-4 chords. Besides i'm still trying to figure out more about piano playing and composing. Some lessons given here is hard for me to understand, since i never studied at a paino class/school.

But still, there are some people who likes simple and some who likes challenge.

if you have notewhorthy composer you can just open up the midi file and convert it into sheets. but if you don't like it that way, as long as you have noteworthy composer than i can give you the file. Tnx, i'm happy you like the song.

^_^

i feel much confident, but i'm still learning. I'm planning on taking my first piano lessons this summer.

We don't get many new happy birthday songs, do we? ^^

Are there any lyrics for this? Anyways, it's nice and simple, straight to the point. I bet your mom was happy!
