This is one of my most favorite animes. It’s a romance/comedy about a two childhood friends who find each other after years of separation. While they spend time together they make new friends and meet up with old friends. During this period they all start to realize their feelings for the main character, Kaoru, and then a things start to get hectic. This is a really good show, has anyone ever watched it or read the manga?!?!?

Ah, the classic Harem animes before the whole moe movement.

Ai Yori Aoshi has a fantastic start merging traditional Japanese family with western styles. Heartwarming at times, funny at others, it piques interest. My only problem with the series is how it progresses, which is also a classic. The story never really moves forward. Instead, the story interjects more and more characters to build up a love polygon on Kaoru, and suddenly, it ends.

I haven't finished it but i did find it annoying at parts where it just stayed the same and nothing important happened. I have only seen some of the 1st season and vol 2 of enishi though. My favorite parts are when Chika's friends are included though lol

Totally watching this! Just watched the OP, and it looks great. It was so pretty (especially the random naked girl. Very classy!), and I've loved everything I've seen from JC Staff, ever. Also, I love the art style. This old anime style is the best!

The animation style is pretty good, but the overall series wasn't very interesting IMO.

Naked girls? that kinda makes you a pervert AND a teenage boy... but aside from those parts I love the characters and some of the events as well. but i haven't seen the ending yet... hope you like it.

Huh? I haven't seen any of the show yet. I like the naked girl in the opening because it shows this series has its heart firmly planted in the nineties, which is a good thing, as far as I'm concerned. I'm not especially fond of fanservice. It usually cheapens the show.

my appologies:heh: anywho the show is interesting and the art is really cool. the characters are comical and a bit emotional at times but that makes it interesting:lol: the newer series which is the sequel has newer art(if that makes any sense) and is a continuation, if im not pointing out the obvious:heh:
