To the chagrin of loyal Xbox fans in the U.S., Japan will be getting the anticipated Xbox Video Chat Kit first on November 25th. The Kit will include the Xbox Cam, Xbox Video chat disc, Xbox Communicater and Xbox Live Starter Kit, all for 6,800 yen (about $63). The Video chat will allow users to communcate with other Xbox Live members on screen using a video Camera. The reason for the early release in Japan is to encourage more XXbox owners to join Xbox Live, since membership is very low in Japan. The video chat kit is currently scheduled for anearly 2005 release here in North America
