Well Summer's here, and I have no excuse but to work on music. Don't think I've ever posted anything on here before, so tell me how these ones make you feel.

Dearly - This is a slow medley for select Kingdom Hearts songs and a great chance for me to practice building musical textures.

Sanity - Original piece for brass quintet; what I want to be the high point of the piece is saved at the end of the .mus file for safe keeping.

Hey, I was really impressed by your piece, "Sanity". I even listened to the part at the end :D.

So far, I think it sounds great! I don't have any complaints, and I'm eager to hear where you go with it. Or rather, how you get to your intended focal point. This is good work though, keep it up!

i wasn't sure in the beginning but i see that you used a 3rd beat for Dearly. i like it.

Sanity was obviously the continuation of Dearly... right?

No. Dearly is an arrangement of a song I don't own, and Sanity is an original composition by me.

Here's Sanity all finished. I'll be playing the trombone part for the first time in my school's Summer brass quintet tomorrow, so hopefully everything goes O.K.! Please don't mind the few hiccups in the mp3; for example, the lack of a decrescendo near the final French horn melody. I really despise human playback sometimes, and refuse to use it in my brass quintet songs. Although I also refuse to post the complete finished score, I will try to get a real recording up eventually.

The official name of the song is now "Scanty."
