Well I've spent around 3 or 4 hours in various anime sheet music sites and plain old Google and haven't found anything. This really surprises me, as GitS is pretty popular and Inner Universe is an OP, not even an OST song...

Anyway, I'm sorry if this has already been transcribed-if it has, please point me in the right direction! Otherwise, would anyone be willing to transcribe it? I'm willing to help of course since this seems to be a fairly difficult song to transcribe.

I've been meaning to arrange this forever. Given how the song's difficulty is about 9001 out of 10, the sheet music will feature more black than white on the page.

Unless otherwise specified.

EDIT: One hour later and it's suddenly getting light outside. Have some rough work-in-progress sheet music. Feedback welcome.

Looks pretty good so far. Are you planning on making some of the vocal melody into chords?

I'll try playing it tomorrow when Ive got some time.
The empty measures at the end-it seemed as though you got the whole song, but I suppose you might be doing the full version. I haven't heard the full version enough to know for sure.

-edit- just listened to the whole song...didn't realize there was that much of the song left lol

Oh, and did u make this with Finale?
I have Finale so if you posted the .mus file, I could help out more easily.

Yeah, I'll outline the melody with chords in the right hand. There's the other half of the song left to arrange, but other than a key change, it follows mostly the same structure.

I use Sibelius (6). Not to say anything against against Finale's awful layout, unintuitive functionality, inefficient note-input, entirely inflexible user-interface, and -- but, um, well. Hm.

Well...not everyone can afford such software...
$100+ for the absolute minimum version :/
Well I suppose you get what you pay for.

Oh well, like I said, I'll take a look at it tomorrow and see if I can offer anything. I'd really like to see this piece get finished! :)

Jeez those 32nd notes are hard to play at that speed X(
Im such a noob...a midi would be really nice =)

A few comments (just some possible suggestions):

I like what you did for measures 15 through 22, but in the song, theres a pretty high pitched accompaniment melody. I can't quite put my finger on it but I know its a combination of C, D (nat) and E, alternating with F. This isn't present when this segment is repeated in measures 35 through 38 as well as the very end of the song, so maybe you could use those bass chords in that part.

Also, in this same segment, there are some background vocals that can help with making chords.

For measures 23 through 38 I noticed you kinda veered from the original bass line of these intervals: B1/B2 A1/A2 F1/F2 E2/E3 D2/D3 C2/C3. If that's your little spin on it, that's perfectly fine. I just wanted to throw that out there...

All in all though, good job so far! :)
Like I've said before, I REALLY want to learn this song, so if there's anything you want me to work on or something just let me know!

I recently watched Ghost in the Shell and instantly fell in love with this song. And though this anime is quite famous nobody seems to have any sheets of the opening theme...
Well, now I found this topic with sheets of the first part and it's almost two years old. Did somebody finish the sheets in this time or has found different ones? I just love this song and would like to play it.

Sorry if I sound a bit impolite or something, English is not my first language. I'm just a German pupil. :)
