Not sure if I can do it here but I need somewhere to talk about this; anyway~

Here's the downlow:
- I have the money to renew the domain.
- The reason why I need to pay is because there is soo much sheets + midi, and the amount of visits just overwhelm any free website provider's quota.
- I need someone to moderate and design the website for me or reccomend a good host. Not sure if I want to use the old provider.
- I need someone to tell me how to convert Sibelius (.sib) file to pdf. without using the Ghostscript PRN method as it doesn't work on Vista (new laptop).

That's all that's really frustrating me, I can't make any sheet music without addressing every problem I wrote up there.

 Hope someone can help me out~

I'm going to start this thing off scratch, forum included, and sheets + midi are all in 1 pack in zip folder for easier storage and upload etc.

Check primopdf for convert scores.

About hosting, you can check this thread I did long time ago that has suggestions of web hosting services: http://forums.ichigos.com/showthread.php?t=14990

Bluehost would be fantastic for this type of situation, as you get unlimited bandwidth and storage space, which are usually the highest cost in a webhost. You won't be able to do everything with them, but you will get a good 80% accomplished with them. Just be sure to have a swearing filter to mask swear words in case of some anal audit goes onto your site.

As for site design, it really depends on what you're targeting for your host platform. You can go as low as manually inserting entries on webpages and updating it, there's using blogs which provide a sequential review of your transcriptions, and there's CMSes which allow both of these through a type of web application similar to MS Word.

If you're looking for someone to design something for, say, a simple custom webpage, you could probibly ask around here for someone. Now, if you're asking for someone to do design for a forum platform like vBulletin, you'd be better off looking at free skins.

To convert Sibelius to PDF I use the freeware, CutePDF Writer, which serves as a sort of virtual printer.
It's really reliable, I use it for professional type settings all the time.
I'm not sure if it works on Vista, but I'm assuming it should since I have an XP.

Here's a page I found with a download link on it:

I had been trying to figure out how to get some WP-esque update system but for a jquery-like interface. Jquery would be awesome because you could organize all your sheet music by however many attributes you want. My programming skills do not go that far, however :\. Josh's database (which seems to be the largest out there) kind of lacks in the very-verbose-meta-data department, but it's not a big deal. I'm just anal about it...

That is a major problem. Most fancy things on websites today require you to write them yourself. Mind you, they try their best to make it easy, but a lot of people can't quite wrap their heads around it.

As for what you're talking about, it sounds like a CMS would be a better choice than Wordpress. A CMS has the ability to create reusable resources and micro-formats and anything else you're looking for in a template system which can be organized however you would like (date-ordered, like Wordpress; or resource-ordered, like Ichigos/jquery). Wordpress is a bit limited as it only allows for static pages and sequential entries.

Hey! I'm a fan of your transcriptions, and I'm really looking for your new ones, too bad your site is already down.

how large is your website? (total files)? I might be able to help you host it.

are you going for a forum or a popular cms like wordpress? If it's wordpress I can help you setup and design. :)

you can still access the freewebs version from february before the domain name went down, http://www.freewebs.com/infinityex/violinsheets.htm

although the midi stuff seems to be a little buggy

You should give uploadingit.com a try. I use it when I upload stuff, and it's pretty good. (and it's free too!) They give you 20GB of space and the same amount in daily bandwidth, so if you have a few accounts it should work. :P
