Anyway, any character annoying you to no end? Provide a reason, not something like "liek omg i h8 so and so from this popular series cuz she get to be wif this bishonen i LUV and like yeah i hate them". Something mildly intelligent, if you please.

Personally, I hate the weepy, wimpy girls in a number of shojo manga waiting to be rescues then finding true love with the boy she's lusting after. Seriously, grow a spine. Also the annoying rival. And the times the main character doesn't tell ehr boyfriends clearly about said annoying rival. It could make things so much less painful to read! I get enough drama irl lol.

I happen to like a lot of shonen series like because they're so straightfoward. Yes, that includes One Piece. I love the universe that Oda Eiichiro has created, with all it's quirky places and creatures. I also happen to like all his characters; they're unique and have a great dream they're all following, with a strong bond of friendship woven through. Maybe it's just me, I just like that kinda stuff. Plus I love a good fight scene...

I agree partially w/ you. Yui is sort of ignoring Miaka... I mean, if Miaka really DID only come for Tamahome, then why did she go to Qu-Dong(Kuto)?

when they dub stuff into english they always mess up the voices and the expression, it is soo anoying, i&#39;d rather just watch it japanese with english subtitles, the theme songs and ending songs sound much better too :)

I used to hate Sakura from Naruto, but recently in the manga (not the anime) she's gotten better, but in the anime...I still hate her somehow. Oh, not to mention Kabuto.
In BLEACH, I never liked Hinamori before and Orihime.
In Prince of Tennis, whenever Tomoko comes on speaks, I turn the volume off. And I just don't like how Sakuno acts, she's just way, WAYYYY too shy for me.

Why does everyone hate Kikyou? I think I'm like the only person who likes her. She's my favourite character from Inuyasha. It's not her fault that all of this happened. It's Naraku's. You don't see anyone hating Kohaku just because he's dead. Don't hate me just because I like Kikyou. It's just that our opinions don't agree with one another. That's all.

I hate Kagome though. She's so annoying and keeps making Inuyasha "sit" for no apparent reason.
I don't like Naruto much either. He's so loud and his catchphrase is annoying.
Flay from Gundam Seed is also so annoying.

Oh....I hate that damn Naru from Love Hina! She is such an annoying character. She's always beating up Kietaro for no real reason most of the time and is always quick to assume he might rape one of them. The main reason why I hate her because she's in love w/ Kietaro (not a real secret) but won't admit it and everytime she drives him away and someone else might try to take him, she does everything in her power to keep the other girls away but won't step up and claim him herself (her presence in Kietaro's mind alone was enough to ruin alot of what ifs moments). She's also way too sexist towards men and is full of herself, like Motoko. I believe in girl power but they take it too far in the negative way. Also Kietaro for acting like a whiny boy and over reacting all the time when he's a full grown man (you're not Shinji,wuss) and letting the girls boss him around, even though he's the manager of the girl's dorm and could've evicted or sued them for the suffering they put him through.

I don't hate Kikyo like everyone else here. Not her fault she died w/ hate in her heart. *hides from Kikyo haters* :ninja: I really hate Kagome because she is so whiny and punishes Inuyasha mostly when she's jealous or can't think of a comeback. I don't like Sakura from Naruto because she's pretty weak for a ninja and is a fool for letting a boy that shows no interest in her, get in between her and her best friend, Ino.

Right now, I'm unleashing my uber-hatred towards Kourin from Sainkoku Monogatari. Can she get any more annoying? I mean, this character is oozing with subliminal arrogance, especially in her dealings with Eigetsu. And then there's her voice and mannerisms. Quite frankly, she reminds me of a depressed, evil poodle on estrogen pills. :P

I love bad guys, I wish they would win sometimes instead of losing to some goodie-goodie. They usually have more unique personalities than the good guys. I can't stand the depth-less character. -_- I like characters who are quirky and have a lot of problems.

Ok, so, characters I hate? Probably the arrogant, emo-type, loner, usually male characters who try to be cool all the time (e.g. Sasuke, Ishida, etc.).
Also, it's not really a character, but the steriotype that swords pwn all. Why can't the main character ever use a different weapon? I mean, sure, swords are cool, but I think they're overrated.

I hate Kagome from Inuyasha. She started off okay but like Kikyo, gets on your nerves w/ their behaviors later on and lose that spark that made them so cool. I don't know about you guys but after hearing "poor Kagome" so many times when Inuyasha thinks of Kikyo or anything related to her, you kinda stop caring since it's always like "Kagome good, Inuyasha bad." Like near the end of the anime series seen in the usa, where Kagome didn't believe Inuyasha about Kikyo and basically went off and hurt him w/ the sit command and eveyone all "poor Kagome"..... yeah.... about several seasons of that and you kinda naturally get to hate her. Also about Kikyo. Kikyo is actually a cool character. It's just, like Kagome, they didn't really do well keeping that when the story went on. At first she was cool. There was now a rival love between new love (Inuyasha and Kagome) and an old one (Inuyasha and Kikyo). I esp. liked the part when Inuyasha actually considered dying to be w/ Kikyo when she was dragging him to the underworld I think. Showed a lot of love there. It was when Kikyo got her "free will". The ability to hate and all that was when she started to get annoying because now it made her sinister, not trusting and totally did a 180 on her character and while this would have help keep the relationship interesting, it would have been better if they killed her off doing something, like saving Inuyasha from a fatal attack or something to redeem her character and their love. It's more like she over stayed her purpose on the show and is there just to interfer w/ Inuyasha's and Kagome's relationship and cause trouble where ever they go is why some people hate her. :\

Naru and pretty much almost all of the of girls of Love Hina since even though it's suppose to be light hearted and everything, these girls can sure be sexist (mainly Naru and Motoko though). Also Kietaro for making the story one sided. Seriously, he made the story so one sided by only liking Naru and since he never really tried looking at the other girls and think only Naru is the girl for him and everything, makes the story real boring when you get the impression that the guy will love, and only love one girl in the show and no one else (not even if the other girls confessed and is more compatible w/ him) would change that and this makes the story so unappealing itself. Doesn't help the girl of his affection is so likable but so unlikable (drags the story to favor her) at the same time. Basically, she has charm but is a bitch too. :\

Rock Lee is awesome :X realisticaly, he is the most inpirational guy out there >_> He trains ever day of almost every minute of his life. He does everything humanly possible to stay in fit other than taking steroids. Unlike stupid Sasuke who was born stronge. He is just like everyone else except more willing. He has the strength to keep on going regardless of the condition. HE IS AWESOME!!

Anyways. . . I hate that last servant the appears (he has golden armour and stuff.) along with that guy that took Ilya during the last episode. That guy that took Ilya brings down Shirou's spirit so much x_x and that servant is such a happy go lucky retard. He says he is the most powerful servant and nothing can beat him, HAH! I just really hate Naru from Love Hina. <_<

Because even though she's the main "heroine" or the girl Keitaro likes the most (no matter what happens which was annoying and why w/ the most dumbest reason even though some of the other girls were better and had more reasonable reasons about their keeping their feelings hidden) It was just like Naru Naru Naru. :\ For a love story centering around several girls, I found it quite boring and annoying how no matter how badly Naru treated Keitaro or how close he got to the other girls, in Keitaro's mind it was always Naru and the thought of her actually made him miss being w/ some of the girls. Like when he thought Mutsumi was the promised girl but still was gonna choose Naru (even though before he could say it Mutsumi said she didn't make a promise to him but to a girl. lol) or when Motoko lost to her sister and in an attempt for comfort (which seemed like she was offering herself to him) his thought about Naru kept him from doing that, he ended up making her laugh (by putting clips on his face to control himself) instead of hugging her like she wanted. Personally, she like ruined it for me cause I didn't feel like she deserved Keitaro w/ all the crap she put him through (despite this being a light love comedy) and how she always dismiss his affections for her though at the same time get jealous if anyone tries to hit on him. (went so far as to spy and actually ruined what moment him and said girl could have had several times.) The fact that Naru and Keitaro got together (vol 13) and even though Motoko (jealous seeing them together) came out and said she loved Keitaro and seemed like she would at last become a rival to Naru, they went off on this crazy incident and etc etc etc ended up all the girls saying they like him but ended up supporting him and Naru's relationship in such a corny way.... it like killed it for me. More so since they got married at the end. (wanted it to be Motoko)

I know I said that before (kinda but longer) but gahhhh I hated her so much that I actually had to at least share my opinion on it somewhere and was the main reason why I joined here before I thought this wasn't a bad place to come regularly. And I hate Rukia, and Orihime from Bleach, and I hate Gara from Naruto! Oh I almost forgot Sasuke...(I just want to commit a crime whenever I see him.)....Prisicilla from Claymore! Like Bobobobo bobo bo. It's completely wacky and pretty random. Hence, the characters are pretty weird and not really the kind most people can relate to. But, then again, you're not supposed to either, because the show is weird and just about laughing and having fun. It's like watching a comedy show on TV, you generally don't like the characters in that do you? (and I'm talking about real comedy shows, not the average American family sitcom about a (usually) black family) where they actually try to give the characters some depth - and horribly fail. Yes, I'm talking about crap like the Cosby show and the Fresh Prince of Bell Air.

Take for instance the British sitcom Are you being served. The characters are so blown out of proportion that you simply can't like them. You watch them being silly and laugh about it, but there's no way anyone would identify themselves with that bunch. That's how you should look at series like Bobobobo bobo bo. Don't try to look for character development, cos it's hardly there if it's there at all. Other series like that are Excel Saga and Puni Puni Poemi, Dai Mahou Touge, and Ebichu. You're not supposed to like the characters, just laugh at their silly antics and misfortune.

Evangelion btw, is the complete opposite. They try so hard to make the characters seem human that they completely miss their goal and create a bunch of freaks you simply cannot like (unless you get off on 14 year old girls in tight suits).

The only characters I've ever hated, were the ones that are always over-used or are in the story for no apparent reason except to make the scenes full of more lines and(or) color. >.<
