hey so i got a casio cpd 200r and i was wondering if any one knows how i can make it sound any better than what i have it set to at the moment.
its just set to grand piano haha it sounds really bold it dosn't have a nice touch to it if that makes sense haha
when i look on youtube i somtimes find these people playing their keyboards and they sound great i was just wondering if i can make it sound any better haha =)

Either they have a better keyboard than you or you have crappy mics or you're not recording via the Line Out jacks from your piano to your computer. That said, I personally dislike Casio pianos. The piano sounds artificial. Go with Yamaha and you'll be satisfied. The higher the budget the better. Basically stay away from low-end budget pianos.

hahah i know its not the best of keyboards but i was using some $150 one before that that that was like 66 keys or somthing i just needed somthing better can u recommand me anything? =)
haha i dont really get *mics or you're not recording via the Line Out jacks from your piano to your computer* dont really know much about my keyboard i just play haha =)

Basically, brncao was saying that the way you captured the audio wasn't all that high quality; such as using an open-air diaphram microphone rather than a direct line or unidirectional condenser microphone.
