I recently played this awesome visual novel and felt that I wanted to play a particularly touching song from the soundtrack. However, I don't have have skills to play it by ear on the piano.

I have been taking a look at this music, and after a brief attempt, I believe that a piano transcription will not work in this piece.

The piano is only one instrument, and in my opinion, it simply can't give the same feel and beauty.

In any case, here's the draft that I had made; it goes upto around 1/3 of the song. You'll probably get what I mean.

However, I understand what you mean regarding the difficulty of capturing the feeling of the song in the part to follow. I'd like to request that you continue to transcribe the full song, and try your best to get the feeling of the song down, if it's not too much trouble. xD
